Our Approach to Tracking
Neural Partners uses a privacy-first, server-side analytics approach. This means:
- We minimize the use of traditional third-party tracking cookies
- Most analytics processing happens on our servers, not through cookies on your device
- We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically
- You have clear choices about what data we collect and how it is used
Types of Cookies and Technologies We Use
Strictly Necessary (Always Active)
These cookies and services are strictly necessary for the Website and our products to function. They cannot be disabled.
| Name / Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookies | Maintain your session as you navigate the Website and product | Session |
| Security cookies | Protect against cross-site request forgery and similar attacks | Session |
| Load balancing | Ensure reliable Website and product performance | Session |
| Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) | Error monitoring and performance tracking to maintain Website and product stability | Session |
| HUMAN Security | Bot protection, fraud detection, and abuse prevention | Session |
These services operate independently of your consent choices because they are required for security, fraud prevention, and basic functionality.
Analytics (Requires Consent)
When you accept analytics through our consent banner, we collect data to understand how visitors use our Website. Unlike traditional cookie-based tracking, we process most analytics data server-side.
| Name / Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
neural_id |
First-party identifier for session continuity | 1 year |
session_id |
Tracks your current browsing session | Session |
consent_status |
Remembers your cookie consent choice | 1 year |
Server-Side Processing
When you consent to analytics, your data may be processed by:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Anonymized event data sent to GA4 server-side to understand traffic and user behavior. Server-to-server communication, not browser cookies. Opt out: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Meta (Facebook) Conversions API: Conversion data sent to Meta server-side to measure advertising effectiveness. Opt out: enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, decline analytics consent, or contact us. Privacy notice: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
- Klaviyo: Email and engagement data for marketing optimization. Opt out: unsubscribe from emails or decline analytics consent. Privacy notice: klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice.
For the complete list of third-party processors used in connection with the Website and our products, see our Subprocessor list.
Functional (Optional)
These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization.
| Name / Service | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Chat preferences | Remembers chat widget state and conversation context | 30 days |
| UI preferences | Stores interface preferences (e.g., collapsed sections) | 1 year |
| Language and region | Remembers display preferences | 1 year |
How to Control Cookies
Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit our Website, you'll see a consent banner with clear choices:
- Accept All: Enable analytics tracking and Website optimization
- Decline: Block analytics while maintaining strictly necessary functionality
Your choice is stored and respected across all our systems.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. When we detect GPC, we automatically:
- Treat the signal as declining analytics consent
- Stop sharing your data with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Persist this preference across your sessions in that browser
You can enable GPC in browsers like Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo, or through browser extensions. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Browser Settings
You can also control cookies through your browser:
- Block all cookies: May affect Website functionality
- Block third-party cookies: Our server-side approach means this has minimal impact
- Delete existing cookies: Clears stored preferences; you'll see the consent banner again
- Private / Incognito mode: Cookies are deleted when you close the window
For browser-specific instructions:
What Happens When You Decline
When you decline analytics (or have GPC enabled):
We still:
- Use strictly necessary cookies for Website and product functionality
- Run error monitoring (Sentry) and bot protection (HUMAN Security) for security and stability
- Process your contact form submissions if you reach out to us
- Respond to and fulfill transactions you initiate
We do not:
- Track your browsing behavior for analytics
- Send your data to Google Analytics, Meta, or Klaviyo for marketing purposes
- Create behavioral profiles or segments based on your activity
- Share data with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising
Do Not Track (DNT) vs. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We do not respond to the older "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signal because there is no industry standard for how to honor it.
We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC), which is a newer, more specific signal with clear legal recognition under U.S. state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act).
Cookies Set by Third Parties
Because we use server-side analytics, we minimize third-party cookies. However, some third-party services may set their own cookies:
- Embedded content (videos, social media embeds): if we embed content from third parties, those services may set cookies when you view the embedded content
- Social media widgets: if you interact with social sharing buttons, those platforms may set cookies
We do not control these third-party cookies. Please refer to the respective third party's privacy policy.
Cookies on Customer Storefronts and Sites
Neural Partners technology may power websites, storefronts, and applications operated by our Customers (such as showroom operators). Cookie use on those sites is controlled by the operator of the site, governed by the operator's own cookie policy and privacy policy. We act as a service provider to the operator and do not set or read cookies on those sites except as instructed by the operator. See our Privacy Policy for our role in this context.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or technology. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide prominent notice on our Website.
