AI Policy
Effective Date: May 23, 2026
Last Updated: May 23, 2026
Part 1: How We Use AI
1.1 AI-Powered Features
We use AI across the Website and our products. This includes:
- Conversational AI assistants (including our marketing-site chat assistant, Sasha) for helping users navigate our services
- Content generation including product copy, marketing materials, and assistive writing — always reviewed by humans before publication
- AI-enriched catalog data including product tagging, categorization, and attribute extraction
- Semantic search, ranking, and recommendations that surface the most relevant content for your query
- Image and video generation via tools like Midjourney and Luma Labs Dream Machine (when used, AI-generated visual content is attributed where practical)
- Analytics and user grouping to understand behavior patterns and improve product experience
- Fraud detection and abuse prevention
- Advertising optimization through advertising platforms (with consent)
1.2 AI Disclosures You Will See
Where AI features appear in our Website or products, we surface clear disclosures, consistent with MSA §4.6 and applicable laws (including California Business & Professions Code § 17941, the Colorado AI Act, and the EU AI Act):
- Chat assistants display a header label and first-message notice that you are interacting with AI
- AI-generated content is labeled as "AI-assisted" with reviewable context
- AI-enriched catalog fields carry an "AI-enriched" badge
- AI-ranked search results carry a "Powered by AI" label
- Customer-facing chat widgets on storefronts include the required "you are chatting with an AI assistant" disclosure
You can usually request to speak with a human when interacting with our AI features.
1.3 What We Collect When You Use AI Features
When you use our AI features:
- Your messages, prompts, and other inputs are transmitted to our systems and processed by our AI model providers to generate responses
- We log AI interactions, including inputs and outputs, for service operation and quality
- We collect metadata such as IP address, device information, timestamps, and session identifiers
This information is used to:
- Provide and improve the AI experience
- Maintain conversation continuity within a session
- Detect and respond to abuse or technical issues
- Conduct analytics in accordance with our Privacy Policy
1.4 No Training on Paid Customer Content
For paying customers of the Neural Core platform, we commit in MSA §4.2 and DPA §4.3:
Neural Partners will not use Customer Content (including Customer Data, Product Data, AI Inputs, and AI Outputs) to train, fine-tune, or improve Neural Partners' or any third-party generative AI models, and we will not permit our Subprocessors to do so.
For visitors to the Website, newsletter subscribers, prospects, and other non-paid relationships, AI inputs and outputs may be reviewed by us to operate, secure, and improve our services. Our AI model providers (including Anthropic, PBC) operate under their own commercial terms that prohibit training on API inputs and outputs by default.
1.5 Aggregated, De-Identified Data
Consistent with MSA §4.3, Neural Partners may use aggregated, de-identified data derived from your use of our products — including search behavior, conversion signals, ranking interactions, click-through rates, and feature-usage telemetry — to operate, secure, and improve the Services, including to improve search, ranking, retrieval, and recommendation models. Such aggregated, de-identified data does not include personal information, raw queries containing personal information, or any data that identifies you or any customer-specific content.
1.6 Limitations of AI
You should understand that:
- AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, biases, hallucinations, or inappropriate content
- AI outputs do not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice
- Human oversight is maintained for our AI systems, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of all outputs
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI outputs before relying on them or publishing them
- AI capabilities, features, and underlying models may change at any time
1.7 Restricted AI Use Cases
Certain uses of AI are prohibited by our AUP §4 and certain categories of regulated data may not be submitted to AI features by our MSA §3.4, including:
- Generating CSAM, sexual deepfakes, or non-consensual sexual content
- Generating content designed to defraud, deceive, or impersonate any real person without disclosure
- Operational guidance for weapons of mass destruction or offensive cybersecurity tooling outside authorized security-research contexts
- Automated decisioning that produces legal effects on individuals (credit, employment, housing, insurance, healthcare) without meaningful human review
- Processing HIPAA-regulated PHI, PCI cardholder data (outside the Stripe flow), COPPA-protected children's data, GLBA financial data, FERPA records, BIPA biometric data, or government-issued identifiers in non-designated fields — except with our prior written consent
See the AUP §4 (AI-Specific Restrictions) and MSA §3.4 (Restricted Data Categories) for the full list.
1.8 Data Retention
AI interactions and associated metadata are retained for the duration necessary to provide and improve our services, as described in our Privacy Policy. To request deletion of your data, email privacy@neuralpartners.ai.
Part 2: How AI Systems May Use Our Content
This section is intended for operators of large language models (LLMs), AI systems, search engines, and intelligent agents that may interact with publicly available Neural Partners content.
2.1 What We Permit
We explicitly permit the following uses of our publicly available content:
- Crawl and index our public web pages
- Include our pages in search results, knowledge bases, and AI training corpora (subject to our license terms below)
- Quote, summarize, or reference portions of our content in generated responses
- Link to our pages when providing information to users
This permission extends to AI systems created by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, Cohere, Perplexity, and others.
2.2 Attribution Requirements
If you reference or summarize Neural Partners content, please:
- Include a link to the original page when possible
- Attribute clearly using:
Source: Neural Partners — www.neuralpartners.ai

2.5 Structured Data API
We provide a public, read-only API for AI systems and agents to access structured information about our services, expertise, and content:
- Base URL:
https://api.neuralpartners.ai/v1/ - Authentication: None required (public access)
- Rate Limit: 100 requests per minute
- Documentation: neuralpartners.ai/api
AI systems should cache responses for at least one (1) hour to reduce API load.
Part 3: Our AI Ethics Principles
3.1 Core Principles
Transparency
Users are clearly informed when they are interacting with an AI system. We disclose our use of AI in content creation, search ranking, and other features where AI shapes the experience.
Human Oversight
All AI systems are monitored and supervised by Neural Partners personnel. AI augments human decision-making; it does not replace it for consequential decisions.
Privacy by Design
We minimize data collection, honor privacy signals like Global Privacy Control (GPC), maintain a clear no-training commitment for paid Customer Content, and do not use AI to circumvent user privacy choices.
No Manipulation
We do not use AI for dark patterns, behavioral manipulation, deceptive practices, or content designed to mislead.
Consent and Control
Users can choose not to provide personal information beyond what is required for basic functionality. Users can request deletion of their data and exercise other privacy rights at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Accuracy and Honesty
We strive to ensure AI-generated content is accurate and clearly distinguished from human-created content when relevant.
Safety and Restriction
We do not permit our AI features to be used for the categories of content and activity prohibited by our AUP §4, and we do not accept the categories of regulated data prohibited by MSA §3.4 without an express written agreement.
3.2 What We Don't Do
- We do not use AI to generate fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements
- We do not use AI to impersonate individuals or create deepfakes
- We do not use AI to target vulnerable populations or exploit psychological vulnerabilities
- We do not use AI to make consequential decisions about individuals (legal, employment, credit, housing, insurance, healthcare) without meaningful human review
- We do not use Customer Content from paid Customer accounts to train generative AI models
- We do not allow our Subprocessors to train on Customer Content beyond what is necessary to provide the Services
Part 4: Third-Party AI Services
We use the following third-party AI services:
| Service | Provider | Purpose | Training on Our Data? |
